Nkechi Live! :: Monday, Jan 25th, 2010 :: Caffe Greco, 423 Columbus, SF

Blessed Friends :-)

My heart hurts for Haiti.  I am overwhelmed by the catastrophic loss, meanwhile I am so grateful to all the volunteers who have dropped all to GIVE of their time and energy to helping find, restore, and help the people of Haiti.  My prayers are with everyone whose lives and families have been affected by this natural disaster.

I write music through life's experiences.  Please download a copy of my new song GIVE.  Here's the chorus which came to me in late 2008e/early 2009 and which has been a life mantra since before I can remember:

Even More than U Can Stand
Everything U've Got 2
So We Can Live
So We Can Live

Next Show :: Monday, Jan 25th, 2010 :: Nkechi Live! @ Caffe Greco, 423 Columbus, SF

This coming Monday January 25th at Caffe Greco, 423 Columbus Ave, SF, CA around 8 pm, I am the featured performer alongside some of the Bay Area's most briliant word smiths. They read their poetry and I sing as in vocalize words and rhymes to rhythms and melodies while I strum my guitar .. or perhaps tap a drum if I'm up to it.  Since 10/26 I have been immersed in one of the most intense writing periods of my life.  Life happens so I get to make music, or is it the other way around?  So I'm making a point to mostly play new songs.  Newly inspired songs, including songs birthed from the soul ache of our planet's recent tragedies.  And mostly I get to be with other like inspired fun folks, so I hope you are able to join us.

Thank U for Ur Ongoing Support Over the Years.  My Spirit is finally finding her way through my muse and I'm ready to birth a full length album.  I am wiriting songs like my heart depends on it and I am finally realizing that it actually does :-)

Let's continue to keep the people of Haiti in Our Prayers.  Look forward 2 Seeing Or Connecting with U Sooner than Soon :-)

May 2010 Be Ur Most Blessed Year!

Blessings :-)

P.S. In addition to cd's I will have Fair Trade "Holiday" Handi Crafts at every show for your craft shopping pleasure. Most items are under $5 and 100% support the Zimbabwe women of
